You are the remnants of a failed experiment in an abandoned castle, transformed into an undead creature. To escape, you must inhabit the lifeless body of another and summon the determination to forge a path through a constantly evolving, pixelated castle infested with rogue enemies and terrifying bosses. Acquire skills in action-packed 2D combat and platform exploration, wield an array of weapons, and enhance your abilities as you uncover the secrets of the dungeon, castle, and beyond.
Additionally, do not fret over death. The dungeon is filled with countless corpses awaiting your next attempt. Fight, learn, perish, restart, and continually improve.
The Netflix edition encompasses all the downloadable content, both free and paid, that was created for the original game. Members can fully experience their odyssey from the initial awakening. Brave the secretive Arboretum in "The Bad Seed" expansion, sharpen combat skills in "Rise of the Giant," journey from dungeon to shore in "Fatal Falls," confront the castle's most formidable boss in "The Queen and the Sea," and join forces with iconic Castlevania characters Alucard and Richter Belmont for an ultra-retro encounter in "Return to Castlevania" DLC.
